一一可在各类型珊瑚礁瑗境中发现.现瑚体为分枝形，常形成大型的樹業状群体,分枝直径在2 5公麓以内，顶端渐尖，分枝阴夹角约4 5—90度.、轴珊瑚孔外径约2.5-4·0公麓，内径约1·0公麓，隔片二还。侧珊瑚孔有雨撞形态，大的珊瑚孔隅口倾斜或二分，小的侧珊瑚孔紧贴分枝表面，内部隔片不明显。生活群体呈黄色、褐色、谈绿或蓝绿色，生殖形式为雌雄同形体.排放型。

相似种：美丽轴孔珊瑚，雨者群体態形相似，但是侧珊瑚孔形悠不同。

地理分布：广泛分布于印度洋、太平洋珊瑚礁区。

群体形态：業形。

侧珊瑚孔形态：突出管状，开口倾斜及突入或突出管状，开口二分及突入。

forming large leaf-shaped groups.the branches have an diameter less than 25mm with tapered tops.Branches

has an open angle of about 45-90degrees.the shaft coral hole has an outer diameter of about2.5 to4.0mm and

an inner diameter ofabout 1.0mm with two cycles of septa.the side coral holes have two forms.the large coral

holes have openings inclined by half while a small side hole is close to the surfaceof the branches,with hardly

obvious internal septa. the group of corals living togetherusually appears yellow,brown,green or blue-green talk

Similar Species:Acropora formosa,the two species have Similar group forms,but different forms of side coral holes.

Geographical distribution:widely distributed in the coral reefs in the lndian Ocean and the Pacific Ocean.
